South Africa’s duo Mafikizolo are right on trend with their latest hit "Love Potion" which is heavily based upon “Pon Pon” music. “Pon Pon” has become a very popular music genre in 2017 with songs like “If” by Davido and P Square’s “Away”. “Pon pon” can be described as a soft-hitting synths production based on Ghanaian hiplife music.

Mafikizolo were right to get on that “pon pon” sound as well, while still staying true to their South African melodic rhythm. As for the video, it paints a magnificent picture of a modern African fairytale that couples voguing with shoki and Afro-eccentric fashions.
